Till Death Do Us Part: Jeep® Renegade Off U.S. Market After 2023 Model
Recently, it has become evident that the Jeep Renegade, the manufacturer’s compact SUV, is not doing well in the United States. The writing on the wall was already obvious in 2022, when the SUV only sold 27,549 total units, while in 2018 it sold a whopping 97,062 total units, a total sales decrease of over 70 percent. As for 2023, the total sale numbers are continuing to drop at an alarming rate.
With those numbers in mind, Jeep has decided to discontinue the vehicle in the United States, while still maintaining their presence in Mexico, Europe, and other markets around the world. Without the Jeep Renegade around, the 2024 Jeep Compass Sport will officially become the cheapest model in the SUV lineup, with a starting MSRP of $29,995.
